If this is the year that you would like to give skiing or snowboarding a try but don’t want to break your budget,\u00a0\u00a0or if you would\u00a0like to make new friends regardless of nationality, or even if you just have an opening in your\u00a0schedule for the long spring break,\u00a0then don’t miss this ideal chance to solve all of the above with the ICC’s No-Border Skiing and Snowboarding Camp!<\/p>\n

Don’t worry if you have zero experience skiing or snowboarding. The camp includes lessons meant for beginners with an instructor who will make sure everyone has a safe, fun time. Moreover, the camp includes a stay at a hotel located right at the slopes!<\/p>\n

This camp will also use the ICC’s unique No-Border rules. This means that using your real name, telling where you’re from or what year you are in school is not allowed throughout the trip.<\/p>\n

Come experience a deeper way of getting know people that comes without any preconceptions. By the end of the trip, you will have some winter sports skills and close connections with new friends, so come and join the fun!<\/p>\n

\u25c6ICC No-Border Rules\u25c6<\/h6>\n

1. No asking or telling nationality, department, school year, age
\n2. No using real names, only nicknames
\n3. Can use English and Japanese only.
\n4. Must turn your cell phone off.
\n5. Must proactively share your opinions, ask others their opinions, and have an open mind.<\/p>\n

Eligibility<\/h5>\n

Current Waseda students (first time\/beginner skiers or snowboarders)
\n\u203bMust participate in the skiing\/snowboarding lessons.
\n\u203bMust choose whether you wish to ski or snowboard in advance.
\n\u203bMust be able to understand basic Japanese. (skiing\/snowboarding instruction will be in Japanese only)<\/p>\n

Capacity<\/h5>\n

120 people (30 minimum required)
\n*If there are more than 90 applicants, there will be 3 buses.
\n*If there are more than 60 people but less than 89 applicants,\u00a0there will be two buses limited\u00a0to 80 applicants chosen by lottery.<\/p>\n

Fee<\/h5>\n

17,000yen (This is half price, the other half of the total fee is covered by ICC\uff09<\/p>\n
