Nissan Motors was founded in 1933 and is today one of Japan’s (and the world’s) premier car makers.
\nA key feature of Nissan’s vehicles is the low-emission, economical engine technology called “PURE-DRIVE”.
\nCreated out of concern for the environment there have been a large number of vehicles developed around this new system.<\/p>\n
Of course, Nissan has factories all over the world, and its cars are popular not only in Japan but worldwide, making it a truly global company.<\/p>\n
Now, the ICC has arranged for a visit to Nissan Factory in Yokohama.
\nAt the Yokohama factory, cars such as the VR-engine GT-R, MR-Juke and YD-NP300 Navara are assembled using 3 different engine types.
\nYou can see the characteristics of the 3 different engines and even visit the assembly line of the newest MR-engine.<\/p>\n
Also, during the tour you can visit the “Experience Corner” where you can try-out various tasks workers do at the factory and experience how engine assembly has improved over time.<\/p>\n
