Located in Tokorozawa in Saitama Prefecture, Waseda’s Tokorozawa Campus\u00a0 is rich with nature and has an atmosphere that is completely different
\nfrom the area around Waseda Campus.<\/p>\n
On November 12th (Sat.) the ICC is hosting a cross-campus mixing event set amongst the beautiful autumn leaves around Waseda’s Tokorozawa Campus between international students and local students.
\nAfterwards we are also hosting a sports mixer event as well.<\/p>\n
We are now looking for supporters who want to enjoy the beautiful autumn colours and mix with students from various countries and departments.
\nSupporters will help guide students on a tour of the Tokorozawa Campus area.
\nThe tour will include a visit to “Kurosuke no Ie” (Kurosuke’s House) a traditional house managed by the local “Totoro Fund” foundation as well as visits to local shrines around the area too.<\/p>\n
For supporters, you will be given an orientation before the event day to help prepare you to guide the students around the area.
\nYou will also be able to visit the area beforehand along with ICC staff so even if you have no guide experience or have not visited Tokorozawa before, you are still more than welcome!<\/p>\n
On the day of the event you will also have lunch with the other participants at the Tokorozawa Cafeteria, followed by badminton or dodgeball event. Lunch is free, and it includes cake and fruit dessert!<\/p>\n
