キリスト教の精神の基づき1885年に創立された総合大学で、ソウル市と原州市にキャンパスを有する。1946年に専門学校から総合大学の延禧大学校として発足し、国内では初の男女共学が実施される。2006年に、全て英語で講義が行われるアンダーウッド国際大学 (Underwood International College) を設立し、英語講義や外国人の教授及び学生の割合を高め、国際化に取り組んでいる。

Q.留学を通じて得た成果を教えてください

現地でできた友達の多くが大学院生であり歳がかなり離れた友達もいた。彼らは経験が多く、一緒に過ごす中で沢山のことを学ぶことができた。また、授業を通して自分について考える機会が多く、自己分析を沢山行った留学生活だった。自分が特に大事にしている、人間関係について深く考えることが多かった。Psych Testing of Childrenの授業で臨床心理に関心を持ち、Psychology of Abnormal Behaviorの授業で臨床心理学を大学院で勉強したいと思うようになった。今まで何がしたいかもわからなかったが留学生活を通して少しずつ自分のやりたいことが見えてきた。

一番興味深かった授業は? / Most interesting class

2. 친근한관계의이해 (Relationship Development),
→恋人、家族、友人をはじめとした親密な関係について学ぶ授業。週に2回授業があり、月曜日は教授による講義、水曜日は生徒同士のディスカッションを行った。毎週違うテーマについて様々な考えを聞けるためん新しい発見が多かった。

7. 행복의과학 (Science of Happiness),
→幸せについて、科学的、心理学的、進化論的に学べる授業。私たちがもつ幸せについての固定概念を崩してくれる興味深い授業だった。幸せな人とあまり幸せじゃない人の差は何かについて考えさせられた。

8. 이상행동의심리 (Psychology of Abnormal Behavior)
→元々臨床心理に興味があったため個人的には面白かった。障害はどこか自分には関係ないものという認識があったが、実は珍しいものではないこと、沢山の人が多種多様な障害によって苦しんでいることを知った。差別と区別について深く考えるようになった。

    For SILS students participation in a year-long study abroad program is part of the general degree requirements.
    Therefore, you must consult with your School Office in advance if you wish to apply to a semester program(s).
  • 通年科目が設置されている学部に属する学生が春学期留学をする場合、 科目登録ができず、帰国後の秋学期の授業を受けられない可能性があります。
    その他、専門演習(ゼミ)の登録や履修ができない等、支障が出る可能性がありますので、 所属学部・研究科に問い合わせ、よく確認の上、出願して下さい。
    If your School has year-long programs, it is essential that you consult with your School Office before applying to a seminar program(s) as there will be a possibility that you may not be able to register for courses in the second (fall) semester and/or seminars (enshu, or so-called "zemi").
  • 延長生となって中期留学プログラムに参加する場合、学費は延長生学費ではなく、所定額をお支払いいただくことになります。
