Support for Alumni

The Career Center provides recruitment (job offer) information to all our undergraduate and master’s/ PhD students who are keen to seek employment in Japan. Many corporations also send us recruitment notices seeking alumni. Please note that such job offer notices are not meant for mid-career switch job-seekers, but mainly for graduates who have not joined the regular workforce three years upon graduation. Job-seekers can also view the alumni listings, provided by the companies. Please do note that the alumni listings are not open to mid-career switch job-seekers.

Alumni who wish to use the services provided by the Career Center must register with us. To register, you must present your identification cards (driver’s license, passport, health insurance card, residence card, etc.) The user card is valid for one year. You can borrow referenc ebooks, view videos on seminars, individual career consultation, and access the alumni listings (NOT for mid-career switch job-seekers).

Searching the Job Offer

The University receives many recruitment (job offer) notices every year. Most of such notices are meant for fresh graduates and some also cater to our young alumni. Access the Career Compass 「キャリアコンパス」 from MyWaseda to learn more about the many recruitment (job offer) notices.

  • MyWaseda is a service system open to all our students, alumni, staff and faculty. For alumni to use this service, you need to apply for a “lifetime account” (one account for one graduate, without costs). If you apply for the account during enrolment, you can continue to use this service after graduation.  To register for a “lifetime account”, please contact the Waseda University Alumni Association.

Please kindly contact and update the Waseda University Alumni Association when you change your work location, department and job title.
