{"id":921,"date":"2021-04-09T15:16:22","date_gmt":"2021-04-09T06:16:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.waseda.jp\/inst\/aw\/?p=921"},"modified":"2021-04-09T15:25:57","modified_gmt":"2021-04-09T06:25:57","slug":"past-workshop-update-writing-research-proposals-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.waseda.jp\/inst\/aw\/news-en\/921","title":{"rendered":"Report on the 8th Waseda University Writing Forum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 8th Waseda University Writing Forum was held online last March 24, 2021 at 13:00-15:00 JST, with the theme of \u201cFostering Students and TA\/LAs: The Significance and Challenges of University Learning Support Programs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>More than a hundred participants from within and outside Japan joined the event. Three guest speakers &#8211; Prof. Atsuko Tominaga (Director, Center for Meta-learning, Future University Hakodate), Prof. Satoru Takagi and Prof. Kazunori Noguchi (Math Education, Global Education Center, Waseda University) &#8211; introduced their learning support programs. In addition,\u00a010 poster presenters (2 in English and 8 in Japanese) shared their work online and received comments from interested forum participants.
