Waseda University Writing Program Twitter Acceptable Usage Policy<\/p>\n

1.Purpose<\/h3>\n

The official Twitter account (henceforth, \u201caccount\u201d) of the Waseda University Writing Program (henceforth, \u201cProgram\u201d) will be used for the purpose of disseminating information to registered students of Waseda University, its staff, alumni and others who are interested in the Program\u2019s activities. This Twitter acceptable usage policy (henceforth, \u201cAUP\u201d) applies to everyone who uses the account (henceforth, \u201cusers\u201d).<\/p>\n

2.Account<\/h3>\n

The name of the account will be: Waseda University Academic Writing Program.<\/p>\n

(Twitter ID: Waseda_AWP)<\/p>\n

3.Management of the Account<\/h3>\n

The account will be managed by the Academic Writing Department of Waseda University\u2019s Global Education Program (henceforth, \u201cadministrator\u201d). Enquiries should be directed to\u00a0http:\/\/www.cie-waseda.jp\/awp\/en\/wc\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n

4.Information to be Disseminated<\/h3>\n

Information regarding the Program\u2019s events, publications, courses, recruitment of tutors and instructors for on-demand writing classes of the Program (shidoin<\/em>), updates to the Program\u2019s homepage, as well as other relevant information will be disseminated through the account.<\/p>\n

5.Account Posts<\/h3>\n

In accordance with, but not limited to, the uses stated in this AUP, users may utilize the \u2018Reply\u2019 and\/or \u2018Retweet\u2019 functions on the account\u2019s posts. The administrator may not be able to respond to all enquiries through the account, but will seek to respond where applicable. Enquiries should be directed to http:\/\/www.cie-waseda.jp\/awp\/en\/wc\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n

6.Copyrights<\/h3>\n

Except as permitted by the copyright law applicable to you, you may not reproduce or transmit any of the content on the account, without the permission of the administrator.<\/p>\n

7.Unacceptable Use<\/h3>\n

Users of the account may not engage in the following activities, and where deemed inappropriate and\/or abusive by the administrator, users\u2019 posts may be deleted or have their user accounts blocked without notice.<\/p>\n

  • Acts that are offensive, or possibly offensive, to public order and standards of decency.<\/li>\n

  • Acts with, or involving, the intention of profit.<\/li>\n
  • Acts that engage in, or incite the engagement of, the harassment or harm of any individual or groups.<\/li>\n
  • Any altercation to the information disseminated by the administrator.<\/li>\n
  • Acts that are irrelevant to the information disseminated by the administrator.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    8.Regarding Following and Followers<\/h3>\n

    The public is welcome to follow the account, but the account is not obligated to follow users who are not affiliated with Waseda University.<\/p>\n
