I took part in an internship program at the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Headquarter in Paris for the third semester of my MA program. The department I belonged to is called the Development Centre, and I engaged in organizing an international conference, drafting an annual report, and preparing a report distributed to the member countries. This internship was a great opportunity to experience how the things I learn at school, collecting information and analyzing, interact with countries’ attitudes and policies in the real world. Moreover, through this program, I acquired so many chances to meet, talk, and discuss with all kinds of people who I could not have met in my life at school, such as specialists from various research fields, officials from the Japanese government, and other interns from many different countries who have the same vision or future goal as I do.
