\u25cb\u8b1b\u6f14\u6982\u8981\u3000Abstract<\/h3>\n

Dr. Samuele Lo Piano’s\u00a0 presentation will cover the approaches proposed to control energy demand and its temporal profile (flexibility). He will deal with technologies for the demand-side management\u00a0as well as for the management of its temporal profile including general utility strategies and monetary incentives. The perspective will be then widened by discussing approaches for the coupling of energy and social systems with a focus on the theory of social practices. The potential of these theoretical frameworks for understanding the drivers of energy demand and its temporality will be showcased in practical examples. He will finally draw conclusions on the potential points of frictions of measurements towards the control of energy demand and those towards its temporality, as well as how joint technological and social-theory-based assessments can enhance the design of policy options in this area.<\/h6>\n
