How did you find out about Waseda University? <\/strong><\/h3>\n
I found out about the providing scholarships from Waseda University in \u201cFair in Japan 2015\u201d festival held in Myanmar.\u00a0 I went to observe, and I got some information documents from Waseda University\u2019s staffs in there.<\/p>\n

Why did you choose Waseda University?<\/h3>\n

<\/a>Waseda University, one of the Institute University of Japan, is remaining at the high ranking not only in Japan but also in Asia.\u00a0 Waseda\u2019s mission is to build leaders, and it did producing leaders in different fields.\u00a0 The other favorite thing is \u201cWaseda University is in the central Tokyo\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
How did you get information for our program?<\/h3>\n
Since there was a \u201cFair in Japan 2015 Yangon\u201d in Myanmar, I knew about the providing scholarships via some documents given by staff in Waseda University.\u00a0 Then, I heard about this program from social network.<\/p>\n

Did you have any concerns before coming to Japan?

<\/a><\/h3>\nYes, I had concerned about the language difficulties, food, and weather because I cannot speak Japanese language yet.\u00a0 I am a little afraid to face with freezing weather.\u00a0 But now I am planning to study Japanese language in center and I will try to communicate each other.<\/p>\n

Have you had any difficulties when you started a new life here?<\/h3>\n
Yes, I had because everything is Japanese language in here.\u00a0 So, I tried to understand the meaning using Google translate and sometimes asked to another Japanese person if I lost the way or buy something in market.\u00a0 Japanese people are very kind and explained to me patiently.<\/p>\n

How is your life in Japan and Waseda?<\/h3>\n

<\/a><\/p>\nLiving in Japan is amazing and comfortable for transportation.\u00a0 My dormitory is near the station, so I can go everywhere by train if I want to.\u00a0 Especially, their instructions for direction are very clear even without knowledge of place.<\/p>\n

What do you do in your free time?<\/h3>\n
In my free time, I went to famous place in Japan such as Kamakura Daibutsu in Kanagawa Prefecture, and Rainbow Bridge in Odaiba City.\u00a0 Sometimes, I go shopping with my friends to Shinjuku and Shibuya.\u00a0 Most of days, I usually spend my free time in my dormitory and do cook by myself for lunch.<\/p>\n

How are the relationships with your supervisor and lab members?<\/h3>\n

<\/a><\/p>\nMy supervisor is a good communicating teacher and very friendly.\u00a0 He gave me helpful suggestion for my research journey.\u00a0 And he arranges to all of us to discuss about our research topics every Tuesday a week.\u00a0 Also, lab members discuss about the new idea in seminar.\u00a0 And they exchange their opinions with each other.<\/p>\n

Outline of the research<\/h3>\n
My research is biometric protection for personal identification system.\u00a0 Nowadays, authentication is an important role for digital world.\u00a0 Later, biometric is used for security key is more secure than conventional password system.\u00a0 So, as increasing using biometric, we should think about the biometric privacy such as template data.\u00a0 I will research about this with my own research ideas.<\/p>\n

What is your career goal after your degree completion?<\/h3>\n
As a government staff in Myanmar, I will apply the knowledge and technologies taught from Japan in my specialized field.\u00a0 As I can, I will effort and continue to develop my country when I come back to my country after completing the doctoral program.<\/p>\n
