How did you find out about Waseda University? <\/strong><\/h3>\n
A few years ago, in an orientation in my country, I got information about Waseda University was doing research on the area I was very much interested in, from the person who visited Waseda University.<\/p>\n

Why did you choose Waseda University?<\/h3>\n
Waseda University has good partnership with my country.\u00a0 Professors from Waseda University are very kind and friendly.\u00a0 And Waseda University is in very convenient place of Tokyo.\u00a0 The other reason is because Waseda University has high ranking in my research area.<\/p>\n

I got information from the list of top Universities through the scholarship website.<\/p>\n

Did you have any concerns before coming to Japan?

<\/a><\/h3>\nI had a little concern about language and weather.\u00a0 Because I cannot speak Japanese, I was worried how I can communicate with people.\u00a0 Now I learn Japanese from the internet and I am attending Japanese conversation class arranged by my scholarship organization.\u00a0 Before coming here, I was afraid of very cold weather because my country has hot weather.\u00a0 However, I am getting used to temperature changes as it gradually became cold.<\/p>\n

Have you had any difficulties when you started a new life here?<\/h3>\n
Because of language barrier, it was difficult to find a place to stay and to find the things that I would like to buy.\u00a0 However, Japanese people are very kind and helpful.\u00a0 My lab mates and my coordinator helped me a lot to be easy in all difficult situations.<\/p>\n

How is your life in Japan and Waseda?<\/h3>\n

<\/a>The life in Japan is comfortable, secure and inspirable.\u00a0 Waseda University can provide good facilities and resources for my research.\u00a0 I am very happy to stay here and proud of being a student at Waseda University.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
What do you do in your free time?<\/h3>\n
In my free time, I go around Tokyo and visit the famous places.\u00a0 I want to visit many other places in Japan and learn the culture of Japan.\u00a0 I went school visit to Kemigawa high school in Chiba and got knowledge about Japanese Education System.\u00a0 I also went to Kamakura and Hiroshima for regional knowledge.\u00a0 Recently I enjoyed flower viewing around Tokyo.\u00a0 Since the time I came here, I would like to visit other places such as Kyoto and Hokkaido in future and enjoy trying Japanese foods.<\/p>\n

How are the relationships with your supervisor and lab members?<\/h3>\n

<\/a><\/p>\nProfessor is so kind to all of us.\u00a0 As he is flexible for students, we can discuss about our problems and he gives us a lot of time to discuss with us for research.\u00a0 And sub-advisors help me to find concrete ideas and give me some advices.\u00a0 In my lab, there are about 20 students including Japanese students and International students.\u00a0 Most of graduate students are International students.\u00a0 All my lab mates are nice and helpful to me.<\/p>\n

Outline of the research<\/h3>\n
My research relates to processing large scale data in cloud.\u00a0 It is to optimize the performance of processing for the faster system to the users of large scale data in cloud.<\/p>\n

What is your career goal after your degree completion?<\/h3>\n
I will go back and serve my country as a faculty staff at my university.<\/p>\n
