One of my best friends has been studying at Tokyo University and he inspired me to come to Japan.\u00a0 I was looking for an English-medium university in Japan and found Waseda.\u00a0 I found I can study my desired research subject, \u201cwireless communication\u201d here at Waseda.\u00a0 Now I know I made a right choice.<\/p>\n
I got information mainly from the website.\u00a0 When I sent an inquiry mail to the University, it took 2-3 weeks until I receive a reply because it was around the vacation period but the communication with my professor went very smooth after the first mail conversation.<\/p>\n
Yes, I was a little bit worried about the payment of tuitions and I was worried about the language as well.\u00a0 I studied the Japanese language in Nepal for a month but it was just the basic HIRAGANA and KATAKANA.<\/p>\n
Yes.\u00a0 Almost all the problems I had were related to language.\u00a0 I didn\u2019t know which route I should take at a train station.\u00a0 I asked Japanese people around me but they couldn\u2019t understand my English.\u00a0 They were very helpful and tried so hard to solve my problem even using their translation functions on their mobile phones.\u00a0 I also had a funny episode at a store.\u00a0 One day I went to Family Mart (convenience store) to buy some sugar for milk.\u00a0 They had salt and sugar on the same shelf but I could not read KANJI (Chinese Characters) at that time so I bought salt by mistake.\u00a0 It was funny I put salt in my milk and it got very salty!\u00a0 Now I can read KANJI so I can tell which one is Sugar or Salt!<\/p>\n

Very good. Very interesting. I am very happy and satisfied with my life here.<\/p>\n
I can speak Japanese now and I understand people\u2019s conversations.\u00a0 I do not have any problem at supermarkets, stores or anywhere.\u00a0 I think, once you know basic Japanese, Japan is a very good place to live.\u00a0 People in Japan are very helpful and I have many Japanese and International friends from all over the world.\u00a0 I took Japanese language classes and will be taking Japanese Language Proficiency Test N3 and N2 level.\u00a0 Learning Kanji is very challenging but I would like to try.<\/p>\n
I live in an apartment so I usually cook for myself.\u00a0 It is easy to find Indian food or Halal food in Tokyo.\u00a0 Indian food and Nepalese food are very similar and the vegetables and fruits in Japan are almost the same as Nepal.<\/p>\n
These days I became busy with my research but I used to play Football in Akabane.\u00a0 I met some Vietnamese guys in a park and they asked me \u201cDo you like to play football?\u201d and I answered \u201cYes, I do, I like football.\u201d That\u2019s how I joined the club!<\/p>\n
Once I traveled to Mt. Fuji area and visited Fuji-Q High-land (amusement park).\u00a0 The Roller coasters there were amazing!\u00a0 If any of my friend in Nepal visit Japan, I definitely recommend them to try the wonderful rollercoaster.<\/p>\n

Very good!\u00a0 There are about 30 lab members in my lab and most of them are international students so the main language in the lab is English.\u00a0 My supervisor is always very helpful about my research.\u00a0 The other day, we all were invited to the supervisor\u2019s house for a BBQ party and had a good time together.<\/p>\n
My research is mainly focus on LPWAN technology, LPWAN is a low power wide area network,
\nwhere we can find the wide area of coverage by using very low power but a very low through
\nput.\u00a0 On talk about a coverage its coverage area is almost 13 to 17 times more then that of
\nnormal base station i.e. one access point is able to cover more then that of 17 base
\nstation.\u00a0 Where battery longitivtiy is about 10 years but its throughput is about Kbps speed some
\ntime up to about Mbps rate.\u00a0 And there are different LPWAN technology like LORA(low range),
\nSigfox , weightless, RPMA etc. RPMA is a Random Phase Multiple Access is almost similar to
\nthat of CSMA\/CA or CSMA\/CD but when there is collision occurs the it randomly choose the
\ntime frame or devices for re transmission of data so there is a minimum chance of collision and
\nsuccessful transmission of data and which use a direct sequence spread spectrum method so
\nfor this when there is large frame size smaller will be the delay and smaller frame size larger will
\nbe the delay time this is the main theme of my research.\u00a0 The main applicable area of the RPMA
\nis daily utility metering system, like gas, water, electricity etc for smart parking smart home
\nsmart city etc.\u00a0 In modern the the scope of the RPMA is so widely almost 38 private network use
\nthis technology all over the world in in USA in 9 state is ongoing,and in Italy all over the nation it
\nwill be run in this year i think this technology will be wide spread all over the world with in a few
\nyears thats why I am researching in this topics.<\/p>\n
Not decided yet but if I have the chance, I want to work at a company in Japan.<\/p>\n
