The award from the Inoue Research Foundation is for Kuraishi\u2019s PhD thesis work on \u201cSpace\u2013Time Computational Analysis of Tire Aerodynamics with Actual Geometry, Road Contact, Tire Deformation, and Fluid Friction.\u201d Only 40 of these awards are given in Japan in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
