The workshop aimed to promote collaborative research between engineering and mathematics and brought together researchers from different fields for discussion.<br \/>\nA total of six researchers from Japan and abroad were invited, and fifteen presentations were given, including nine by doctoral students from Waseda University. Throughout the workshop, active question-and-answer sessions and discussions took place. In addition to facilitating interaction among researchers from different disciplines, the workshop provided doctoral students with a valuable opportunity to receive constructive feedback on their
