There are three key scaling parameters in this model: population size K, mutation rate μ, and mutation step size δ. In these lectures I will explain how by different choices of taking limits in these parameters, an amazing variety of asymptotic processes arise on different time scales. These capture on the qualitative scale several key features of biological evolution taking place on a hierarchy of time scales.

Prof. Dr. Anton Bovier　 (Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn)

Prof. Dr. Anton Bovier

English

t-kumagai [at] waseda.jp

[1
53,139
post-19368","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","tag-events","tag-lecture
["GET
