We welcomed distinguished researchers from abroad and Japan to discuss the latest research results and topics in areas ranging from quantum physics to mathematical physics.<br \/>\nThe Top Global University Project, which will end in FY2023, is going to hold a series of symposia to highlight the successful outcomes to date in the seven model units. This symposium was held to showcase the achievements of the Multiscale Analysis, Modelling and Simulation unit under the University\u2019s Waseda Goes Global Plan, an initiative funded by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) Top Global University Project. The Multiscale Analysis, Modelling and Simulation unit plans to hold two international workshops to present the final results, and this workshop will be the first in the series.<\/p>\n<h4>This workshop has been held continuously since 2015 as one of the main activities of the Multiscale Analysis, Modelling and Simulation unit. The first part of the workshop was dedicated to Quantum Physics, and consisted of three special lectures delivered by Prof. Daniel BURGARTH from University of Erlangen-N\u00fcrnberg, Germany, Prof. mutual direction of graduate students on the basis of the cotutelle program between University of Pisa and Waseda University.<br \/>\nWe are planning to continue the workshop on our own scientific
