In addition, basic lectures were given by Prof. Sakai (Tokyo Metropolitan University.) and Prof. Tanaka (Tokyo University of Science), and a lot of talks related with symmetric spaces were given by Prof. Sakai, Prof. Onita (Waseda University), Prof. Tanaka, Prof. Koike (Tokyo University of Science), Assoc. Prof. Ohno (Nihon University) and P.D. Morimoto (Tokyo Metropolitan University).
This special lecture were started with the basics of symmetric spaces. Then Prof. Heintze explained the irreducible representations and the highest weight theory of it.
