Event Report on “International Workshop on Bifurcation Governed by Partial Differential Equations”

The International Workshop on Bifurcation Governed by Partial Differential Equations was held on December 20-21, 2022. The main purpose of the workshop was to share the latest research results and interests of “bifurcation”.

Keynote Speeches

Prof. Tayfun E. Tezduyar (Rice University / Waseda University)

Prof. Takaaki Nishida (Kyoto University)

On the first day, Tayfun E. Tezduyar, Professor at Rice University and Joint Appointment Professor at Waseda University gave a keynote lecture, and four lectures were given by five students, mostly from the TGU course of Mathematical and Physical Sciences. Prof. Tezduyar spoke about some familiar bifurcation phenomena in fluid mechanics including Karman vortex.
