Professor Eiichiro Tanaka<\/a> of the Graduate School of Information, Production and Systems, Waseda University (IPS), has been appointed as a Fellow of the PoliTO Japan Hub<\/a> Fellow Academy, established by Politecnico di Torino.<\/p>\n

PoliTO Japan Hub is a center established by Politecnico di Torino to promote collaboration with universities, research institutions, and other organizations in Japan.<\/p>\n

Fellows are expected to introduce the Hub\u2019s activities through their research and education networks in Japan and contribute to the promotion of research collaboration, joint educational activities, and the dissemination of research outcomes to society.<\/p>\n

Educational and Research Exchange with Politecnico di Torino<\/h3>\n

In February 2026, Professor Tanaka visited Politecnico di Torino as a visiting professor and delivered lectures to doctoral students on the development of assistive devices that support human movement.<\/p>\n

During the visit, Professor Tanaka also exchanged views with members of Politecnico di Torino on the possibility of future educational and research exchanges.<\/p>\n

Toward Further Development of Exchange<\/h3>\n

Professor Tanaka\u2019s appointment as a Fellow reflects the educational and research exchanges that have been developed between Professor Tanaka and Politecnico di Torino, and is expected to serve as an opportunity to further strengthen relations between IPS and Politecnico di Torino.<\/p>\n

Through this appointment, IPS aims to deepen its educational and research exchange with Politecnico di Torino and further expand its international research network.<\/p>\n
