Their proposal was highly evaluated not only for its clear differentiation from competing concepts, but also for its strong potential to capture a rapidly growing market, leading to their executive committee consisting of Waseda University\u2019s Miyake Laboratory, The University of Tokyo\u2019s Sakata Laboratory, Tokyo University of Science\u2019s Hayamizu Laboratory, Shibaura Institute of Technology\u2019s Tohma Laboratory, and Macnica, Inc.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"421\" data-end=\"709\">The name <em data-start=\"430\" data-end=\"444\">BioInnoSense<\/em> is a coined word combining <em data-start=\"472\" data-end=\"485\">bio-sensing<\/em> and <em data-start=\"490\" data-end=\"502\">innovation<\/em>.<br data-start=\"503\" data-end=\"506\" \/>Biosensors are technologies that sense biological reactions, with promising applications in a wide range of fields, including future medical care, healthcare, environmental monitoring, and food safety.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"711\" data-end=\"890\">This competition aims to create world-changing innovations by combining the research capabilities of universities with the practical implementation expertise of
