~Research topics~<\/strong><\/p>\n TANAKA Laboratory is engaged in activities to improve quality of life(QOL). Members are working on developing the devices and systems that can assist walking, assist upper limb, do emotional recognition, and encourage exercise. These devices and systems are designed to be a fusion of hardware and software, so that our proposals can improve users QOL with various perspectives. Two of our projects became a product in cooperation with a company respectively.<\/p>\n TANAKA Laboratory is composed of Professor Tanaka, Assistant Professor Osawa, 14 international students and 2 domestic students. There are not only mechanical field members but also information and robotics field. On the weekly zemi and research group discussion we share various points of view, backgrounds, and experiences, so that each project can progress smoothly. Our two supervisors: Professor Tanaka and Assistant Professor Osawa strongly assist all project and give us wisdom.<\/p>\n ~Laboratory activities~<\/strong><\/p>\n Our research topics are mainly based on technology, but it is also deeply related with rehabilitation and human anatomy. The members are studying about these related knowledges together in zemi, so students can combine it with their background knowledge to provide a comprehensive solution for increasing the QOL.<\/p>\n Our members also have collaboration not only in study but also in daily. Seasonal parties and excursions are planned each season. TANAKA laboratory is the place you can study well and enjoy well.
