Before serving as a supervisor of a Ph.D. student, he held a post as director of memory design engineering in ULSI Technical Development Center of Mitsubishi Electric Corp. He is a member of ISSCC Far East commission and Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers, and served successively for the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan Investigating Committee.<\/p>\n<p>Our research subjects include:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Construction of CMOS analog integrated circuit: new construction of memory, ultra low voltage reference circuit, amplifier<\/li>\n<li>On-chip power supply: charger pump, low power DC\/DC converter<\/li>\n<li>Low power consumption circuit: charger recovery logic circuit, charge recycling power supply system<\/li>\n<li>Switching power suppliers: DC\/DC converter, AC\/DC converter, DC\/AC inverter<\/li>\n<li>LED driver: AC\/DC lighting driver, DC\/DC lighting driver<\/li>\n<li>Control of power suppiers: control of charger pump, LDO, switching powers<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For analog integrated circuit, it is comfortable to learn from the simulation, layout design, By VDEC (VlSI Design And Education Center),the actual implementation can be designed and evaluated.<\/p>\n<p>Wth the requirements of low carbon society, our laboratory also focuses on switching power supply research. In order to reduce the emission of CO2,the efficiency of power supply should be improved. Therefore, the efficiency improvement technology of powers is explored.<\/p>\n<p>Through the internship in many enterprises, there are many opportunities to experience the most advanced technology.<\/p>\n<p>The motto of our laboratory is &#8220;study hard and enjoy life&#8221;, and atmosphere is very open. At the weekly seminar, there are not only member&#8217;s research process reports and papers introduction, but also precious talk by alumni or companies\u2019 researchers, which are very useful for study and job wanted. Prof. Yoshihara and doctor students would teach friendly if anyone has questions. Besides study, we take dinner party at least 2 times for each year, and even sometimes hold at Prof. Yoshihara\u2019s house. Beer and chat are always the main programs, with Mrs. Yoshihara\u2019s indispensable delicious dishes. Everybody feels just like in a family.
