Using an econometric approach, his research focuses on &#8220;the socioeconomic impacts of technological development, demographic change, and climate change. He has particular expertise in US regional labor markets,<\/p>\n<p>He is currently engaged in empirical research on the effects of climate change on regional labor markets and the macroeconomy, the effects of industrial robots and immigration on the risk of occupational injury, and the effects of artificial intelligence on the productivity of knowledge workers.
