Nicole Darnall is Professor of Management and Public Policy in the School of Public Affairs & the School of Sustainability at Arizona State University (ASU), Associate Director of the Center for Organizational Research and Design at ASU, and team leader for ASU\u2019s Sustainable Purchasing Research Initiative. During 2017-2019, Professor Darnall is a Social Science Research Council Abe Fellow visiting Waseda University and a visiting scholar at the Research Institute of Environmental Economics and Management. Her research investigates non-regulatory governance as it relates to global sustainability to determine whether the absence of state coercion, combined with appropriate incentives, can encourage organizations and individuals to be more environmentally sustainable.<\/p>\n
