 21st Century COE Program ╢ “Constructing Open Political-Economic Systems (GLOPE)” was selected by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology for the 21st Century COE Program. It was active as a Center of Excellence program before April 2008. Since April 2008, its program and research activities have been continued by the Global COE Program.
 Global COE Program ╢ Based on the methodological integration between Political Science and Economics achieved in the 21st Century COE Program “Constructing Open Political-Economic Systems (GLOPE),” the Global COE Program seeks to progress theoretical integration between Political Science and Economics, setting “expectation” and “institution” as its key concepts. Through its projects, the Program supports and trains persons who are able to put their specialized knowledge into practice, as well as specialized researchers.
It was active as Center of Excellence program before April 2012.
