The department is very globally oriented and being able to interact with international professors and students actually contributes to my global perspective and open mindedness. In SPSE (*1), I was able to explore how political science and economics are intertwined in real life implications. Besides core credits, the curriculum is so flexible that we could choose any courses of interests both from our own and any other departments.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, Waseda is actively cooperating with other prestigious universities to provide the best experience for us, every student is strongly encouraged to go for an exchange during the study. I have been to one-year exchange in Washington University in St. Louis and have taken courses from various disciplines including law, psychology, computer science, business and chemistry etc. Above experience absolutely helps shape my\u00a0future career plan.<\/p>\n<p>Another thing I deeply appreciate is that\u00a0throughout my undergraduate years, I have always received scholarships from either Japanese government or Waseda and I am very grateful for that.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_9190\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.waseda.jp\/fpse\/pse\/assets\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Ms.-Fu1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-9190 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.waseda.jp\/fpse\/pse\/assets\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Ms.-Fu1-610x407.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"610\" height=\"407\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.waseda.jp\/fpse\/pse\/assets\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Ms.-Fu1-610x407.jpg 610w, https:\/\/www.waseda.jp\/fpse\/pse\/assets\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Ms.-Fu1.jpg 612w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px\" \/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Studying at Lee Kun-Hee Commemorative Library (FPSE Student Library)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Waseda University also aims to provide an embracing environment for all the students. In order to help us to adapt quickly, the University has put a lot of efforts including providing Japanese courses through CJL (*2), holding regular interaction sessions and organizing Japanese culture explorations etc.<\/p>\n<p>After finishing my undergraduate studies, I will be going to UK to pursue a master in finance, many of my friends also go for\u00a0further studies in different areas such as economics, political science and financial mathematics. I do believe this programme does provide me all sorts of\u00a0future possibilities I could think of.
