\uff13\uff0eInitial Setup of MyWaseda<\/h3>\n

In order to conduct the further procedures including course registration, it is necessary for students to finish initial setup of MyWaseda first. Please refer to the “Waseda ID User Copy” available to download through UCARO in September for the navigation and conduct the initial setup asap.<\/p>\n

\uff14\uff0eCourse Registration Guidance for New Students<\/h3>\n

  1. Course Registration Guidance for New Students: We would like for students to carefully read through the course registration guidance materials provided in the email will send you on September 10. New students must prepare for the new semester by referring to the guidance materials.<\/li>\n
  2. Please note, as stated in the Guide to Entrance Procedures, if you wish to have a sub-adviser, you must apply by September 1 <\/span>using the application form provided in the Guide to Entrance Procedures.<\/li>\n
  3. Course Registration: Please refer to our email regarding the course registration guidance materials sent on September 10 and the following link for details on AY2025 Fall Semester course registration.

    5\uff0eScholarships for Privately-financed International Students<\/h3>\n

    In order to apply for scholarships, you have to make scholarship registration during the designated registration period below.\u00a0 Please refer to the course registration guidance materials provided by the GSPS office on September 10 for details.<\/p>\n

    *The registration is not through UCARO<\/strong><\/span> for international students.
    \n*For students who will graduate\/complete their former student status at the Waseda University on 15 September: Please complete the procedures for continuing to a new student status before applying. (See “3. Initial Setup of MyWaseda”).
    \n*If your VISA status is one of the followings, “Permanent Resident”, “Special Permanent Resident” “Spouse or Child of (Special) Permanent Resident ” or “Spouse or Child of Japanese National”, please refer to the “Scholarships” information on the Guide to Entrance Procedures.<\/p>\n

    6\uff0eStudent ID card<\/h3>\n

    Please come to GSPS office (10th floor, Building 3, Mon-Fri 10:00-16:00) to receive your student ID card from September 21.
    \nYou need to bring your examination admission card\/slip<\/span><\/strong> to get a student ID card. If you do not have your examination admission card\/slip, please bring your identification documents (eg. residence card).
    \n*If you have submitted ‘Notification of Delay in Submitting Documents’, please bring the documents<\/span><\/strong> as well.
    \n*If there is a change from the address entered in the UCARO, please apply for a change from ‘View\/Update Your Own Profile’ in MyWaseda by 23:59 on September 20.<\/p>\n

    We also give you the study guide of GSPS and other important documents for new students, so please kindly come to GSPS office to receive them.<\/p>\n

    1. Support Anywhere<\/a> : Support Anywhere is designed to help students get the information they need online whenever possible.<\/li>\n
    2. International Student Handbook<\/a> : Waseda University provides a variety of support services to help international students\u2019 academic and daily lives. This handbook lists the services and programs available at Waseda University for international students, and contains important information on daily life in Japan. Please use this handbook to create a wonderful student life at Waseda.<\/li>\n
    3. Writing Center<\/a> : The Writing Center is a support organization outside regular class. Undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty members in the university are free to use the center. Online sessions can only be booked in advance through the web.<\/li>\n
    4. Intercultural Communication Center<\/a>: Waseda University Intercultural Communication Center welcomes people of all origins and nationalities and provides opportunities for students to interact with each other. Please feel free to visit the ICC Lounge (1st floor, Building 3).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
