Graduate School of Public Management-Administration hours of operation

*The office for the Graduate School of Public Management has moved to the office for the Faculty of Political Science and Economics on the 10th floor of the new Building No. 3 from January 2015.

During periods when lessons are being held

Administrative matters will not be handled on Sundays, public holidays, Saturdays during the summer and winter vacation periods and any other holidays defined by the University.

Faculty room, 9th floor Building No. 3

*Please use the faculty room on the 9th floor of the Building No. 3 from January 2015.

The room can be used during the preparation of materials before lectures and as a waiting area between lectures.

  • Mail boxes
    Individual mail boxes are provided for visiting professors and part-time lecturers. Any items such as postal matter or distributed materials that arrive during the period of appointment will be placed in the boxes, so please check these when attending the University.
  • Printer
    One printer has been installed. To use it, you need a photocopy card which is lent in the faculty room.

Notes The Faculty of Political Science and Economics library is a library integrating the School of Political Science and Economics faculty library and the Waseda Institute of Political Economy library. The collections of books from the former faculty library and the Waseda Institute of Political Economy library are arranged in this faculty library.
◊ Persons qualified to browse master’s theses
1. Full-time Faculty of the Faculty of Political Science and Economics
2. Students enrolled in the Graduate School of Political Science, Graduate School of Economics or Okuma School of Public Management
3. Persons who have completed studies at the three schools above (However, use is restricted to the person’s own Master’s Thesis)
4. Undergraduate students of the School of Political Science and Economics who have obtained permission from the instructing faculty
*For 3 and 4 above, it is necessary to have a “Master’s Thesis reading permit” issued by the Graduate School office in advance.

Individual Study Room (Building No. 3 room B103)

Room B103 on the B1 floor of Building No. 3 shall be the individual study room for current students of the Graduate School at the Faculty of Political Science and Economics.

The room is locked with an automatic locking system using a student ID card reader. The desks shall be for shared use.
