He is one of the leading scholars of Strategic Management and International Management.<\/p>\n<p>Session on 19th, Dec.<br \/>\nTilte : The Effect of Home Country Bribery on Seeking Foreign Market Opportunities: The Case of Firms in Transition Economies<br \/>\nChair: Associate Professor Junichi Yamanoi (Facalty of Commerce, Waseda University)<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-2052\" src=\"https:\/\/www.waseda.jp\/inst\/sgu\/assets\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_0758-e1486347840834-940x622.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0758\" width=\"940\" height=\"622\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Prof. Lee reported that bribery in the home country reduces a firm&#8217;s focus on foreign markets. Also, the negative effect is strengthened for new ventures and is weakened by the competitive pressure from informal economy.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Prof. Lee\u2019s teaching seminars for Ph.D students were conducted for three days.<\/p>\n<p>1st.
