  • The office is closed on Sundays, holidays, on Saturdays during the summer and winter breaks, and on any other holidays designated by the university.
  • Office work is not processed during the period when no classes are held throughout the entire university in mid August.
  • Access to Waseda campus is restricted during the month of February in order to prepare for entrance examinations; during this period, office work will be handled between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. in Okuma Garden Hall.

Contact from the Office

Notices, announcements and school-related information for students (e.g., schedule of class cancellation, courses and events) are posted on the GSE bulletin board. Make sure to check this bulletin board upon arrival at the school.

In particularly important and urgent cases, the Graduate School Office may contact students by e-mail, telephone, or other methods. Accordingly, students should keep the Graduate School Office informed of their current address and telephone number (Students can use the MyWaseda to change their information).

Lee Kun-Hee Commemorative Library (on the basement floor)

On the basement floor is designated as Student Library for FPSE. Your student ID card is used to enter the room. Scan your student ID card to the card reader set at the door.

PC Room (Room 804 on 8 floor)

Preventing the spread of infection of COVID-19, this room cannot be used at the moment.

Room 804 on 8 floor is designated as PC room for graduate students of FPSE.

It is equipped with 30 computers that graduate students are free to use whenever classes are not being held in the room.

Note: Computer classrooms (on the 3rd floor of Building No. 3 /Room 901, 902 and 903/Room 803 and 804) will be closed from March 18 – April 19, 2020.

Room 1105 on 11 floor is designated as Seminer Room for Master Students of GSE. Your student ID card is used to enter the room. Scan your student ID card to the card reader set at the door.

This Study Room is set up for students in GSE and you are free to use them however you like. The seats in the room for Master Students are all nonreserved.

Room 1101, 1102 on 11 floor is designated as Seminer Room for Doctoral Students of GSE. Your student ID card is used to enter the room. Scan your student ID card to the card reader set at the door.

These Study Rooms are set up for students in GSE and you are free to use them however you like. While the seating in the room for Doctoral Students is determined by student discussion.

Students who wish to use personal locker may get a key from graduate school office. Students need to conduct application procedures in according with guidance from graduate school.

※Please note that you will be charged if you lose the locker key.
※Please return the key before your enrollment period is over.
