KAWANABE, Takeshi is Assistant Professor of Waseda University School of Political Science and Economics. His career was: Research Assistant: Mori Arinori Center for Higher Education and Global Mobility, Hitotsubashi University(2017-18); Adjunct Lecturer: Tokyo City University(2017), Kawamura Gakuen Woman’s University(2018-), Tsuda University(2020-21); Research Lecturer, Hitotsubashi University Graduate School of Law(2019-20). His doctorate is Comparative Constitutional Law regarding the theoretical conflict between the constitutionalism and democracy. His article, ‘The Constitution of the People, by the People, for the People’ , 17 Hitotsubashi Journal of Law and International Studies 435(2018), received the 11th Ishibashi Tanzan Young Scholar Award.
