Drawing on recent litigation and legal doctrine, most notably the debate over &#8220;infringement by label&#8221; highlighted in the Hikma v. Amarin case currently before the Supreme Court, he will critically examine whether current case law could expand liability for induced infringement beyond the existing elements, such as active inducement and causation.
