Marriage in Israel is bound by religious law, but on the other hand, in court cases, decisions have legally recognized the relationship of same-sex couples and their relationship with their children.<\/p>\n The lecture will explain, from a judge\u2019s perspective, the formation of families of same-sex couples under Israeli law, and will focus on the legal framework and practice of having children through assisted reproductive technology.<\/p>\n The caretaker will provide comparison, as needed, with the current legal system in Japan and supplemental information regarding future legal developments. This lecture aims to provide an opportunity to deepen one\u2019s understanding through Q&A with the participants.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u25c6There is no advance registration.
