As of March 2025, 39 countries have ratified the Convention, and the Council of Europe has called on Japan to ratify it as well. The lecturer, Professor Sara De Vido, is an international human rights researcher. Professor De Vido has put violence against women in the center of her research, and has written a commentary on the Istanbul Convention. In the lecture, Professor De Vido will speak on international developments in preventing and eradicating violence (including domestic violence) against women based on the Istanbul Convention.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u25c6There is no advance registration.
