She earned her Ph.D. from Waseda University\u2019s Graduate School of Letters, Arts and Sciences \u00a0in 2004 . Her research focuses on the studies on ancient Chinese books in Japan. After serving as an Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at Waseda University, she has been a professor there since 2012.
