In my sophomore year, I was scheduled to study abroad at Science-po Lyon, France, to study international relations and European politics in a more practical way, however, it was cancelled due to the Corona disaster. In the meantime, the APM class allowed me to experience studying abroad in France in a pseudo-study abroad experience. I was able to take classes on populism, French politics, French-Japanese political comparisons, and international relations. Classes were small and included lectures, discussions, and role-plays. I was sometimes worried about whether I would be able to keep up with the level of my French when I first started the course, but I was able to attend the classes with peace of mind because the classes were planned to proceed smoothly according to each student\u2019s level.
