In November 2025 (27-28), Professor Detey co-organized the (I)PFC2025 International Conference in Paris<\/a> (Maison de la Norv\u00e8ge, CIU) with Helene N. Andreassen<\/a>, UiT Arctic University of Norway (Norway),
\nMarie-H\u00e9l\u00e8ne C\u00f4t\u00e9<\/a>, University of Lausanne (Switzerland), Isabelle Racine<\/a>, University of Geneva (Switzerland), Elissa Pustka<\/a>, University of Vienna (Austria) and Julien Eychenne<\/a>, University of Sherbrooke (Canada). During the conference, Prof. Detey co-presented a paper with Prof. Eychenne<\/a> (Sherbrooke University, Canada) and Dr Fontan<\/a> (Archean Labs, France) about Functional Load and Entropy in French, as well as another paper with Prof. Durand<\/a> (Toulouse University, France) and Prof. Lyche<\/a> (Oslo University, Norway) about the native speaker, the standard speaker and the normative speaker. During his research trip in France, Prof. Detey was also invited to give a presentation at the UTL (Le Mans University) entitled \u201cMake French Great Again: what language tells us about us, and what society has to say about it<\/em>\u201d (in French).<\/p>\n
