This portion of the biennial, which spotlighted the collaborative work of Kathy Jet\u00f1il-Kijiner and Aka Nivi\u00e2na, drew connections between melting ice caps and rising oceans, as well as shared environmental displacement and colonial impacts between Ainu and Marshall Islanders. Dvorak&#8217;s work contributed to the festival&#8217;s dialogue on historical and environmental themes in relation to the intersections of art, technology, and science.
