Professor Detey\u2019s talk was entitled \u201cPlurilinguisme en classe : une chance pour repenser l\u2019apprentissage du fran\u00e7ais\u201d (Plurilingualism in class: an opportunity to rethink what teaching L1 French in French primary and junior high schools means) and around 280 teachers attended the lecture.
