I wanted to research more about CALL and language teaching methods with technology, so who would be better than Dr. Stockwell \u2013 one of the pioneers in this field? GSICCS offers various distinctive PhD courses that support the writing of a PhD dissertation, and there are a variety of seminars which provide information about research and background theories and help students to become a part of a learning community. As an international student, I think it is a great idea to form this connection,as we can support each other during stressful research time mentally and academically. I am currently working as an educator in Japan as well, so after graduation, I would like to continue researching and working in academia.
