An Overview of Healthcare Systems in the World<\/p>\n

Abstract<\/h4>\n

Healthcare systems in the world can be first classified by the existence of a Universal Healthcare in a country or not. A Universal Healthcare System is defined as offering access to healthcare services at free or affordable price for all residents in a country, which in these countries is considered as a basic human right. There are a number of different ways by which universal healthcare system is provided in each country. Some countries provide access to healthcare services at free or affordable price only for certain segments of the people living in that country, while others have to pay for healthcare services out of their own pocket. In most of the developing countries, this out of pocket payment is adopted. Comparison is made on % share of health expenditure and military expenditure against GDP in some developing countries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
