The study, titled &#8220;Regional Trade Network and Local Currency Use in ASEAN+3,&#8221; is a joint project featuring Lien Pham, a 3rd-year Ph.D. student at GSAPS, and Cyn-Young Park, Executive Director at\u00a0<a id=\"OWA07cca751-44a3-7cc0-c833-ac875a97b27b\" title=\"https:\/\/www.seacen.org\/\" href=\"https:\/\/www.seacen.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"1\">the SEACEN Centre<\/a>. As geoeconomic shifts restructure global supply chains and challenge US dollar dominance, this project introduces a critical regional network perspective to policy circles. By utilizing innovative counterfactual modeling, the team will analyze how different paths of regional integration affect home-currency invoicing.
