Research Theme, Outline of Project Research Seminar, Message to Prospects<\/h3>\n
This project research examines issues related to international relations and security in Asia-Pacific. The stability of the region is important for the future of the whole world. Using international relations theory, the project seeks to identify causes of tension and make policy prescriptions. In addition to learning theories and acquiring analytical tools, we participate in workshops with members of foreign embassies, defense organizations and outside scholars.
\nOur students come from some 20 countries around the globe. After graduation, many pursue careers in foreign service, defense, journalism, NGOs and in academia.
\nWars are tragic, but because they are caused by humans they can be avoided. Our goal is to find out how.<\/p>\n
