He has published widely on issues related to identity, language, writing, academic publishing, professional development, mentoring, and technology. He is founding chair of the Symposium on Second Language Writing, a premier international conference for second language writing research, and former President of the American Association for Applied Linguistics.<\/li>\n<li>\u8b1b\u6f14\u6982\u8981\uff1aIn this lecture, an experienced researcher of second language writing and mentor of doctoral students and junior researchers will discuss the nature of scholarly writing and publication in the age of AI. He will begin by challenging the false binary between human and technology and propose a view of academic literacy as AI-augmented.
