Why Japan? & What Is Exciting about Having an MBA at Waseda Business School<\/h3>\n
I grew up at a time when ‘Made in Japan’ products such as televisions, phones, and motor vehicles, among other things brands like Toyota, Sony, Panasonic, Toshiba, and Sharp were household names in Uganda. This ignited my interest in Japan as a country; I wanted to understand further the reasons behind Japanese brands’ success on the global business stage. At Waseda Business School, I have learned about the development of new technology and experimentation, which has helped me expand my way of thinking. Associate Professor Kenetaka MAKI organized a research tour to Kyotango City. We visited several start-ups and other innovative companies, such as Xcom Global at Shibuya and King Skyfront at Kawasaki, which deepened my understanding of my specialized Zemi(seminar) under \u201cEntrepreneurship and Innovation\u201d.
