Course Description:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0This course is offered with one-week schedule, on the contents of the seminar by invited local experts, and company visits. The seminars mainly focus on, and aim to understand, the following topics; essential conditions of the ecosystem (particularly, the difference with IT sector) which is necessary for creation of the Life Sciences business, the present conditions and issues of the finance on the Life Sciences business, the difference and similarity with the Bay area, San Diego, and the other (neighboring) areas in the Life Sciences sector.<\/p>\n

Preparation assignment will be given before leaving. Students of Stanford University and UC San Diego (if possible, MBA students) might participate in the discussion in the class.<\/p>\n
