Profile
Professor Yamada worked as a business consultant at Mitsubishi Research Institute from 1981 to 1989. He joined the faculty of WASEDA University in 1989. He served as the chair of the Ministry of Economy Trade and the Industry Committee for de facto Standards. He serves/served as independent audit & supervisory board member of Astellas Pharma Inc., NEC Corporation., Fukuoka Financial Group, Inc. and Suntory Holdings Ltd. He received Waseda Presidential Teaching Award in 2016.
