It will examine the historical backgrounds of these disciplines and the impact they have on contemporary scholarship and society, elucidating how their interactions have facilitated academic development.<br \/>\nThe symposium will focus on how the unique knowledge systems and cultural backgrounds of literature, medicine, history, and Buddhism influence one another, generating new insights and perspectives. Through specific case studies, we will discuss how these fields have interacted and resonated across academic boundaries.<br \/>\nAdditionally, we will consider how intercultural exchanges have fostered advancements within each discipline and generated new cultural understandings. The symposium will also address the implications of these exchanges for modern society and explore future possibilities. He has focused on the history of cultural communication between China and Central &amp; South Asia in the Medieval Period, mainly but not exclusively in terms of medicine.
