Sado is about hospitality, discipline and the art of life.<\/p>\n<p>Shigenori Tomioka, the first president of Japan Metals &amp; Chemicals Co., Ltd., once said that, &#8220;A tea bowl and a <em>chasen<\/em> (bamboo whisk) are all you need to enjoy your tea.&#8221; Perhaps, this maybe the reason why he has so many tea bowls as part of his collection, totaling up to over 50. The exhibition displays 20 selected tea bowls of Tomioka&#8217;s, including Japanese tea bowls created by Hisada Sozen (1647 &#8211; 1707) from the early Edo period and the 6th Rakuke, Sanyu (1683 &#8211; 1739), as well as ones from China and Korea. Other tea utensils such as <em>chashaku<\/em> (tea scoops), tea caddies and a hanging scroll to decorate the room will also be on exhibit.<\/p>\n<h3>Exhibition information<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Date: March 1 (Wed) &#8211; April 28 (Fri), 2017<\/li>\n<li>Time: 10:00 &#8211; 17:00 (Admission until 16:30)<\/li>\n<li>Venue: Tomioka Shigenori Collection Gallery, 1F of Aizu Museum<\/li>\n<li>Closed on Sundays and Holidays (*3\/26 and 4\/2 are exceptions)<\/li>\n<li>Free admission<\/li>\n<li>A gallery talk will be held on March 4 (Sat) from 13:00 &#8211;
