Research
The theme is focused on the deformation process and mechanism of various materials from woods to metals from the viewpoint of mechanical engineering. Especially creation of new deformation processes is being studied. The present interests are as follows: ・Manufacturing of strip and clad strip by melt drag process, ・Cold and warm forging of re-cycled aluminum materials, ・Expert system of computer-aided forging process planning, ・Surface cutting mechanism and behavior of brush by the roll-brushing method, ・Timbre of materials, ・Crushing and solidifying of wooden materials, ・AI system on shearing of aluminum extruded parts, ・Metal deformation in step-by-step forging, ・Virtual factory of forging, ・Shearing mechanism of extruded parts with complex cross-sections.
In our research, emphasis is placed on creating new concepts of the deformation process and many technologies of plasticity.
